Daystack ("the app," "we," "us") is developed by Shao Zhou. This policy explains what information we collect through the Daystack app and this website, how we use it, and your choices.

Information We Collect in the App

• Email Address — collected when you create an account, used for sign-in and account recovery.
• User ID — a unique identifier generated when you create an account, used to sync your data across devices.
• Your Content — the custom routines, favorites, and step-completion history you create in the app, synced to our backend so your data is available across your devices.
• Device ID, Crash Data, and Performance Data — collected automatically via Sentry, a crash-reporting service, to help us diagnose bugs and improve app stability.

We do not collect your name, phone number, physical address, location, contacts, or photos through the app. We do not use advertising SDKs in the app, and we do not sell your data.

Information We Collect on This Website

This website uses PostHog to understand how visitors use the site (such as pages viewed and waitlist sign-ups) and to capture your email address if you join our waitlist. This is separate from the app's data collection described above.

How We Use Your Information

• To create and maintain your account.
• To sync your routines and progress across your devices.
• To diagnose crashes and performance issues.
• To notify waitlist subscribers when the app launches.

Third-Party Services

We use the following service providers:

• Supabase — backend hosting, authentication, and data storage for the app.
• Sentry — crash and performance monitoring for the app.
• PostHog — website analytics.

These providers process data on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

Third-Party Content

Some routines in the app reference practices attributed to public figures, sourced from publicly available interviews. Daystack is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any individual featured in the app.

Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. To request deletion of your account and associated data, email us at hello@mydaystack.com.

Children's Privacy

Daystack is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
